A ready-to-install middle post for stairs, H 960 mm – for a railing with horizontal Ø12 mm rods. Strofix welds it from AISI 304 stainless-steel parts: a Ø42.4 × 2 mm round post tube on a Ø100 mm base plate under a Ø105 mm cover. The post carries four through holders – the Ø12 mm rods pass through the post.
On top: an M8 end cap, an adjustable handrail rod that follows the stair pitch, and a handrail plate for a Ø42.4 mm round handrail. The rod holders are 190 mm apart (centre to centre). Satin finish; also available in AISI 316. Rods, handrail and floor anchors are not included.

What is included?

How does it follow the stair pitch?
The handrail rod on top is adjustable, so the handrail plate can be set to the angle of the stairs.
What is the difference between AISI 304 and AISI 316?
AISI 316 contains added molybdenum for higher resistance to chlorides and salt air. Choose AISI 316 near the sea, around outdoor pools or where de-icing salt is used; AISI 304 is sufficient for interiors and standard outdoor conditions.
