The Strofix glass clamp 30×30 mm flat is a compact stainless-steel glass clamp designed for mounting glass panels onto flat-surface posts, brackets, or wall plates. Manufactured from AISI 304 with a satin finish, dimensions 30 × 30 × 18 mm (L × H × W). The clamp accepts glass thicknesses of 4, 6, or 8 mm via selectable rubber inserts, and provides a 12 mm standoff distance between the mounting surface and the glass panel.

The clamp body grips the glass panel between two halves secured by screws, with the rubber inserts cushioning the glass and adapting the clamping gap to the selected glass thickness. The clamp is supplied without a glass support plate — if vertical glass support is required, the flat glass support plate must be ordered separately. The "without rubbers" option provides the clamp body only, for cases where custom or replacement rubber inserts are used.

The compact 30×30 mm format makes this clamp suitable for lightweight glass panels and applications where a minimal, low-profile fixing is preferred. The satin finish matches other Strofix stainless-steel railing and glass components for a consistent appearance.

Use cases:

  • Mounting glass infill panels on flat railing posts for balustrades
  • Glass partitions in offices and retail spaces using flat-profile structural elements
  • Lightweight glass screens on wall-mounted brackets
  • Staircase and mezzanine glass balustrade installations with compact clamp profile
  • Glass wind screens and privacy panels on terraces and balconies

FAQ:

Which glass thickness should I choose?

Select 4, 6, or 8 mm from the dropdown to receive the clamp with the matching rubber inserts pre-fitted for that glass thickness. If you select "Without rubbers," you receive the stainless-steel clamp body only, without rubber inserts.

What does "without supporter" mean?

This clamp is supplied without a glass support plate. The support plate is a small shelf that sits inside the clamp and bears the weight of the glass panel from below. If the glass is installed vertically and needs bottom-edge support, order the flat glass support plate separately. For horizontally clamped or top-supported glass, the support plate may not be needed.

What does "flat" mean?

"Flat" refers to the mounting surface type. This clamp is designed for flat-surface posts, brackets, or wall plates. For mounting on Ø 42.4 or Ø 48.3 mm round tube posts, use the corresponding tube-mount glass clamp variants from the Strofix range.

What is the standoff distance?

The distance between the mounting surface and the glass panel is 12 mm. This is a fixed dimension determined by the clamp body design.

What material and finish is it supplied in?

AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin surface finish. These are fixed on this SKU — there is no grade or finish selection.

How is the clamp secured to the post?

The clamp body has screw holes for fastening to the flat mounting surface. Screwing elements are included. The two clamp halves are then tightened together to grip the glass panel between the rubber inserts.

About flat glass clamps

A glass clamp for a flat surface is a stainless-steel bracket that grips a glass panel along its edge without requiring a drilled hole, fixing the panel to a wall, post or flat-sided structure by clamping pressure alone. Two halves tighten around the glass with rubber inserts that cushion the contact and accommodate different panel thicknesses.

Strofix supplies flat-mount glass clamps in ten body variants — from a compact 30×30 mm mini clamp to larger bodies with lengths up to 67 mm, heights up to 45 mm and glass-edge overhangs up to 18 mm — in AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel with satin or polished finishes.

Rubber inserts are available for 4, 6 and 8 mm glass, or the clamps can be ordered without rubbers for custom applications. The correct clamp depends on body size, glass thickness, steel grade and the required finish.
