The Strofix glass clamp 45×45 mm flat polished (without supporter) is a stainless-steel glass panel holder designed for mounting on flat surfaces such as walls, square posts, and flat-sided structural members. The clamp measures 45 × 45 × 26 mm (L × H × depth) and holds glass panels from 6 to 10.76 mm thick. The distance between the mounting surface and the glass panel is 20 mm. Available in AISI 304 or AISI 316 with a mirror-polished finish. Attached by screwing (elements for screwing included).

The polished finish provides a high-gloss, mirror-like appearance that suits premium and contemporary interior and exterior glass railing installations. This is the aesthetic upgrade from the satin-finished version of the same clamp — the dimensions, glass range, mounting type, and structural performance are identical. The "without supporter" designation means this clamp does not include a safety support bracket underneath the glass panel. Glass thickness options cover single tempered glass (6, 8, 10 mm) and laminated safety glass (8.76, 10.76 mm). AISI 304 is suitable for standard installations; AISI 316 provides higher chloride resistance for coastal or exposed environments.

How does this differ from the satin version?

The only difference is the surface finish — polished (mirror-like) versus satin (brushed). The dimensions (45 × 45 × 26 mm), glass range (6–10.76 mm), grades (AISI 304/316), mounting type (flat), standoff (20 mm), and structural performance are identical. The polished version is priced higher than the satin version.

What does "without supporter" mean?

This clamp holds the glass by clamping pressure between rubber gaskets only — it does not include a safety support bracket underneath the glass. The "with support" version (SKU ST-045450B, satin only) adds a security plate and safety pin. Check availability of a polished "with support" version in the Strofix range.

What glass thicknesses are supported?

A glass clamp for a flat surface is a stainless-steel bracket that grips a glass panel along its edge without requiring a drilled hole, fixing the panel to a wall, post or flat-sided structure by clamping pressure alone. Two halves tighten around the glass with rubber inserts that cushion the contact and accommodate different panel thicknesses.
