Welding flush angle

The Strofix welding flush angle is an AISI 304 stainless-steel fixed 90° elbow connector for Ø42.4 × 2 mm or Ø48.3 × 2 mm railing tubes, designed for permanent welded attachment. The Ø42.4 variant has a 48 mm height; the Ø48.3 variant has a 57 mm height. Supplied in satin finish. Attached by welding (elements for welding included).

The welding flush angle creates a smooth, flush-profile right-angle joint between two round tube sections. The fitting sleeves over the tube ends and is permanently welded in place using TIG or MIG welding. This provides a stronger, more rigid joint than adhesive-fixed flush angles, making it suitable for structural railing applications and professional fabrication workshops. The two tube size options cover both the standard Ø42.4 mm and the Ø48.3 mm railing pipe. AISI 304 stainless steel is suitable for standard interior and exterior installations.

The satin finish provides a uniform base appearance. Post-weld grinding and polishing may be required to blend the weld zone with the surrounding surface.

What is the fitting height for each tube size?

How is this fitting attached?

How does this differ from the adhesive flush angles (90°)?

The adhesive flush angles use glue for attachment and require no welding equipment. This welding version provides a stronger, permanent joint for structural applications. The adhesive versions are available in three height options (H = 30, 35, 44 mm) with various finish and grade choices. This welding version has tube-dependent heights (H = 48/57 mm) in satin AISI 304 only.

Is post-weld finishing required?

The weld zone may need grinding and polishing to match the surrounding satin surface. The extent of finishing depends on the weld quality and visual requirements.

What steel grade and finish is used?
