The Strofix fitting – tee corner is an AISI 304 stainless-steel three-way corner junction for Ø42.4 × 2 mm railing tubes. The fitting combines a 90° elbow turn with a perpendicular tee branch, creating three tube connection points at a single corner location. The fitting has a 30 mm height (H) and is supplied in satin finish. Attached using adhesive (elements for pasting included).
The tee corner is used where a handrail or top rail changes direction by 90° and simultaneously branches off to a third tube run — for example, at a balcony corner where the railing continues in two perpendicular directions while a third tube descends or extends to another level. The three openings accept Ø42.4 mm tubes: two form the 90° corner and the third provides the perpendicular branch. The fitting sleeves over all three tube ends internally, maintaining the flush profile with no visible hardware on the outside. AISI 304 stainless steel is suitable for standard interior and exterior installations.
The satin finish provides a uniform appearance that matches other Strofix satin-finished railing and handrail components.
The tee corner fits the Ø42.4 × 2 mm round tube — the standard railing pipe in the Strofix product range.
The tee corner connects three tubes: two form a 90° corner (like an elbow) and the third branches off perpendicularly from the corner junction.
The fitting has a 30 mm height (H = 30 mm).
The tee "T" connects three tubes in a T-shape: one tube runs straight through and a third branches off at 90° from the middle. The tee corner has two tubes meeting at a 90° corner (not straight through) with the third branching perpendicularly from that corner. Use the tee "T" for mid-run branches; use the tee corner for end-of-run corner branches.
A 90° elbow connects two tubes at a right angle. The tee corner adds a third perpendicular tube branch at the same corner junction, making it a three-way connector rather than a two-way connector.
The fitting is secured using adhesive (pasting). The Strofix anaerobic glue (50 mL) is the recommended adhesive.
Elbows and connectors are stainless-steel joint fittings that link two sections of handrail or railing tube at a change of direction, creating a continuous, seamless-looking rail line around corners, up staircases and across straight joints. Flush elbows and angles slip over the tube ends and produce a smooth, weld-free joint on the visible surface; welding variants are permanently fused for a rigid connection.
Strofix supplies 15 elbow and connector products for Ø42.4 mm round pipe and 40×40 mm flat square tube, including fixed 90° flush angles, adjustable flush elbows (with one variant covering 0–70°), cross flush angles, tee ("T") connectors, tee corner connectors, inline fittings and welding flush angles — all in AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, with AISI 316 and polished options on selected variants.
The correct fitting depends on tube profile, the angle of the direction change, the number of tube arms meeting at the joint and whether a screwable or welded connection is required.
Strofix designs and supplies stainless-steel fastening systems for architectural glass, including glass adaptors, railing components, handrails, and structural fixings. We also serve architects, installers, and building contractors on residential and commercial projects.
