Flush angle (90°)

The Strofix flush angle (90°) is an AISI 304 stainless-steel fixed right-angle connector for Ø42.4 × 2 mm or Ø48.3 × 2 mm round railing tubes. The fitting creates a smooth, flush-profile 90° corner joint between two round tube sections. Both tube sizes share the same 35 mm height (H). Supplied in satin finish. Attached using adhesive (elements for pasting included).

The flush angle sleeves over the ends of two round tubes at a fixed 90° angle, creating a clean right-angle turn for handrails, top rails, and other round tube railing elements. The "flush" design encloses the tube ends internally, so the external surface at the joint is smooth and continuous with no visible bracket or clamp. The fixed 90° angle is used for standard horizontal-to-vertical transitions, balcony corners, and level handrail direction changes. The two tube size options cover both the standard Ø42.4 mm and the Ø48.3 mm railing pipe. AISI 304 stainless steel is suitable for standard interior and exterior installations.

The satin finish provides a uniform appearance that matches other Strofix satin-finished railing components.

What is the fitting height?

Both tube sizes have the same 35 mm height (H = 35 mm).

What is the angle?

The angle is a fixed 90°. It cannot be adjusted. For variable-angle connections with round tube, use the adjustable flush elbows in the Strofix Elbows, Connectors category (available in H = 47 mm and H = 27 mm versions for Ø42.4 mm tube).

How does this compare to the 40 × 40 mm square tube flush elbow (90°)?

Both provide a fixed 90° flush joint. This product fits round tubes (Ø42.4/48.3 mm) with a 35 mm height. The square tube version fits 40 × 40 mm tube with a 45 mm height. Choose based on the tube profile in the railing system.

How is the fitting attached?

The fitting is secured using adhesive (pasting). The Strofix anaerobic glue (50 mL) is the recommended adhesive.

What steel grade and finish is used?

The fitting is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. AISI 304 is suitable for standard interior and exterior installations.
