Flush angle (90°)

The Strofix flush angle (90°) is a stainless-steel fixed right-angle connector for Ø42.4 × 2 mm or Ø48.3 × 2 mm round railing tubes. All variants share a fixed 44 mm height (H). Available in AISI 304 satin for both tube sizes, with AISI 304 polished and AISI 316 satin also available for Ø42.4 × 2 only. The fitting creates a smooth, flush-profile 90° corner joint. Attached using adhesive (elements for pasting included).

This is the most versatile flush angle in the Strofix range, offering the widest selection of finish and grade options. The 44 mm height provides a substantial joint body, and the fixed H dimension is consistent across both tube sizes. Surface finish, tube diameter, and steel grade are selected independently at order time, but note that polish and AISI 316 are only available for the Ø42.4 × 2 variant. AISI 304 is suitable for standard installations; AISI 316 contains molybdenum for higher chloride resistance in coastal or high-humidity environments. The "flush" design encloses the tube ends internally for a smooth external surface.

The satin finish matches other Strofix satin-finished components. The polished finish (Ø42.4 only) provides a mirror-like appearance.

When should I choose AISI 316?

AISI 316 contains molybdenum for higher resistance to chlorides and salt air. Specify AISI 316 for coastal, pool, and high-humidity installations. Available for Ø42.4 only.

How is the fitting attached?

The fitting is secured using adhesive (pasting). The Strofix anaerobic glue (50 mL) is the recommended adhesive.

Elbows and connectors are stainless-steel joint fittings that link two sections of handrail or railing tube at a change of direction, creating a continuous, seamless-looking rail line around corners, up staircases and across straight joints.
