The Strofix fitting is an AISI 304 stainless-steel inline coupler for Ø42.4 × 2 mm or Ø48.3 × 2 mm round railing tubes. The fitting joins two tube sections in a straight line. The Ø42.4 variant has a 4 mm height; the Ø48.3 variant has a 5 mm height. Available in satin or polished finish (polish for Ø42.4 only). Attached using adhesive (elements for pasting included).

The fitting is an internal sleeve that bridges the joint between two round tube ends meeting in a straight line. The ultra-thin profile (4–5 mm) means the coupler is nearly invisible once installed — the external surface shows only a minimal seam between the two tube sections. This is used wherever a continuous straight run of round tube railing or handrail exceeds the available tube length and must be extended with a joint. The fitting slides into the bore of both tube ends and is secured with adhesive, creating a rigid, straight connection. The two tube size options cover both the standard Ø42.4 mm and the Ø48.3 mm railing pipe. AISI 304 stainless steel is suitable for standard interior and exterior installations.

The satin finish matches other Strofix satin-finished components. The polished finish (Ø42.4 only) provides a mirror-like appearance.

Is this a straight or angled connector?

How does this compare to the 40 × 40 mm square tube fitting?

Both are straight inline couplers with the same ultra-thin profile concept. This product fits round tubes (Ø42.4/48.3); the square tube fitting fits 40 × 40 mm square tubes. Choose based on the tube profile in the railing system.

How is the fitting attached?

The fitting slides into both tube ends and is secured using adhesive (pasting). The Strofix anaerobic glue (50 mL) is the recommended adhesive.
