The Strofix bottom fastening is an AISI 304 stainless-steel raw-finished base plate for the Ø42.4 mm railing post tube. The plate has a Ø100 mm diameter (D), 6 mm thickness (h), and four Ø11 mm bolt holes (for M10 bolts). Supplied with a raw finish. The post tube is attached by welding (elements for welding included).
Four M10 fixing points distribute the post loading evenly across the base, providing the highest resistance to overturning moments. The raw surface is standard for base plates that are concealed by a decorative cover after installation. The 6 mm plate thickness provides greater rigidity than the 4 mm raw-surface base plates. AISI 304 stainless steel is suitable for standard interior and exterior installations.
This SKU is a single fixed configuration – Ø100, h = 6, 4 bolt holes, raw, AISI 304 only.

What are the plate dimensions?

How does this compare to the other round base plates?
For Ø42.4 mm tube the Strofix range has round base plates Ø80, Ø93 and Ø100 mm, 4 mm thick, with 2, 3 or 4 holes, and this Ø100 mm plate, 6 mm thick, with 4 holes. Four bolts provide the highest anchor security; two bolts provide the simplest installation. Choose based on the structural requirements.
Why raw finish?
Base plates are supplied raw because they are welded and normally concealed by a decorative cover; the weld is finished anyway.
